New Brand Alert – Introducing Johann Wolff

We are very pleased to announce that we have become the first stockist in the UK of up-and-coming Miami-based eyewear brand Johann Wolff.

A little bit about Johann Wolff

Founded in 2020 by brothers Eric and Lorenzo, they aim to bridge the gap between unique vintage eyewear and modern design to create frames that will feel cool and modern while also being evergreen.

They aimed to supply a great quality frame at a very fair price point. Bridging the gap between the ultra high-end brands and the poor quality injection molded frames. We think they have done this magnificently.

They are currently stocked at several high-end opticians, fashion boutiques, and hotels across Miami and we are very pleased to be their first international stockist. We are pleased that since arriving in the store a few weeks ago their designs in both sunglasses and optical frames have been loved by our clients.

We thoroughly recommend popping in when you are in the village to try a pair or two. Oh and did I say all of the sunglasses come with polarised lenses for that extra visual comfort.

Our Johann Wolff Favourites

The Anna in Dark Havana: £190

The Anna is a thick statement acetate frame that features a raised beveled brow line. Available in a number of great colours including of course Dark Havana, Army Green, and Hickory. Like all Johann Wolff frames it is available in both sunglasses and optical meaning if you love it you can treat yourself to one of each.

The Otto in Tigerwood: £190

The Otto is a fine acetate frame, although it would fall in the rounder side of the frame shape spectrum this is an extremely wearable unisex frame. It’s a small to medium fit and a style that everyone needs in their eyewear wardrobe for those days when you might not want to be bold with your eyewear. This frame will look effortless and is also available in sunglasses in great colours like Smoke.

Johann Wolff –  Morrison Sunglasses in Moke: £230

The Morrison is another great frame inspired by the Italian film stars of the 1960’s. It is a semi-chunky acetate round eye with a beveled but flattened top. It reminds us of an old D28 bifocal (sorry optical joke). Anyway, this is again as with all Johann Wolff designs a timeless, contemporary frame that would look great on anyone sitting at center court on a lovely sunny Wimbledon day. Available in both optical and sunglasses in great colours such as Champagne and Army.

The Dessau in Smoke: £215

This is a brand new model about to launch in-store, photos will be coming very soon but this is a really thick rectangular frame with soft edges. A perfect true-to-size gents frame or it can be worn slightly oversized for ladies. Featured in this lovely soft, semi-transparent smoke colour as well as polished black and green.
