We recently spent the weekend at the world’s biggest optical trade show Silmo (as we do every year) on the hunt for unique, inspiring eyewear to bring back to Wimbledon.

This year we found La Brique et la Violette, a loose translation to Purple Bricks, I was informed by a client recently.

Founded by Marine & Romain in 2012, they design, create, and manufacture frames that are original, humorous, and elegant. Inspired by the people, the characters, and the colours of their city of Toulouse.

The frames are all handcrafted with incredible care and detail in their own small twelve-person factory in Toulouse.
